The Mini Solar Kit teaches children the benefits of solar energy while they create a toy that is both fun to play with and requires no batteries. This educational solar kit is an excellent beginner building kit designed to teach how solar power is used to drive a small motor.

Build all 6 models
Use the 21 snap together parts to build six different working models including a robotic dog, working boat, windmill, moon car and two different planes.
 

No tools required
All the parts snap together with spring terminals for the wiring. The instructions are excellent with extremely clear and concise illustrations detailing every step. Absolutely no tools are needed!
A+ for Science Projects

A brilliant kit for any junior eco-scientist. You can build any one of six different projects from the parts in the kit, then make them work by solar power. The finished projects are solar powered, but can also be powered by the light from a household 50W halogen light.

Learn about Solar Energy

The Mini 6-in-1 Solar Kit uses a single solar cell to power a small motor at up to 12000 rpm. The different kits then use different propellers to move. It teaches about renewable solar energy and basic mechanical assembly. You can even apply principles of air displacement and motion.
